Welcome to the PulsePal heart rate monitoring application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions for your use of PulsePal. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App. By using the App, you agree to all terms of this Agreement. If you disagree with any of the terms in this Agreement, please immediately cease using the App.
1. App Description
PulsePal is a heart rate monitoring and health data management app for the general public. Key features include:
• Measuring heart rate with a camera;
• Manually recording health data such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood oxygen;
• Providing data trend charts and health advice;
• Displaying advertisements;
• Offering an optional premium subscription service (with automatic renewal) to unlock additional features.
Note:
This App is not intended to replace medical equipment or a doctor's diagnosis and is for health reference only. If you have any medical needs, please consult a professional physician.
2. User Data and Privacy
(1) No Account Registration Required:
This app does not require users to log in or register to use basic functions.
(2) Data Storage and Security:
• Your personal health data will be stored locally on your device, and some of the data may be used for analysis to improve the user experience.
• We will not actively collect your identity information (such as name, mobile phone number, ID number, etc.).
3. Subscription Services and In-App Purchases
(1) Subscription Content:
PulsePal provides optional subscription services (such as unlocking historical data analysis, ad-free experience, more measurements, etc.), which are provided on a monthly, annual or one-time basis, as shown in the app.
(2) Automatic Renewal:
• Subscription services will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period;
• The fee will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account;
• You can manage or turn off the automatic renewal function at any time in the system "Account Settings".
4. Advertising Notice
• This app contains third-party advertising content.
• We strive to ensure the legality and compliance of advertising content, but we are not responsible for the accuracy, security, or integrity of third-party advertising.
• If you do not wish to see ads, you can opt out of ads by subscribing to Premium Services.
5. User Conduct Guidelines
When using this app, you agree:
• Not to use this app in any illegal manner;
• Not to use this app to disseminate illegal, false, or harmful information;
• Not to interfere with the normal operation of the app, decompile, or crack the app;
• Not to use this app for any purpose that infringes on the privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights of others.
If we discover that you have engaged in any of the above activities, we reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your use of this app without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property Notice
All content contained in this app, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, interface, functional design, app name, and logo, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other relevant laws and is owned by the app developer or its licensors.
Unless expressly authorized, no one may reproduce, modify, distribute, or use this app for commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimer
• This app provides health reference services only and is not a medical device or professional medical advice.
• Any consequences of using the data measured in this app to make health decisions are at the user's own risk.
• This app is not responsible for data loss or malfunctions caused by network issues, device abnormalities, or system updates.
8. Agreement Modification and Termination
• We reserve the right to update this Agreement based on business development and will notify you of any changes through in-app notifications.
• Continued use of this app after any update constitutes your agreement to the updated Agreement.
• If you disagree with the update, please immediately cease use of this app.
