PulsePal (hereinafter referred to as the "App") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle your data and applies to the App versions distributed through Google Play and the App Store.
1. Data Collection and Use
This App does not require registration or login, but may collect the following information to provide and improve the service:
1.1 Heart Rate and Health Data
• This App uses device sensors (such as the camera or heart rate monitor) to measure your heart rate data.
• All heart rate data is processed locally and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
• You can choose to manually export your data, but this App does not automatically store or sync your health information.
1.2 Device and Usage Information
• Anonymous diagnostic data (such as crash logs and performance data) may be collected through Firebase Crashlytics to improve app stability.
• Advertising and analytics data (such as click-through rate and session duration) may be collected through Google AdMob and Google Analytics to optimize ad delivery and the app experience.
1.3 Advertising and Third-Party Services
• This app includes Google AdMob ads and may use the Advertising Identifier (Advertising ID) to deliver personalized ads.
• You can reset the Advertising Identifier or disable personalized ads in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Ads; Android: Google Account Ads Settings).
• Ad providers (such as Google) may collect device information (IP address, device model) to serve ads, but their use of data is governed by their privacy policies.
2. How We Use Information
We collect information for purposes including, but not limited to:
• Enabling core functionality (such as heart rate measurement and recording);
• Displaying ads (both personalized and non-personalized);
• Providing premium subscription content;
• Measuring usage data and optimizing the product experience;
• Troubleshooting errors and improving stability and compatibility.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
• This app offers optional subscriptions (Premium features), with payment processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• We do not store your payment information; all transactions are managed by Apple/Google.
• Subscriptions automatically renew; you can cancel at any time in your App Store account settings.
4. Data Storage and Security
• Health data is stored locally on your device by default.
• We do not store any personally identifiable data.
• We use technical measures such as system permission sandboxing and secure access mechanisms to protect data from misuse.
5. Children's Privacy
This app is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or such age as determined by local law). We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe we have mistakenly collected information from a child, please contact us using the information below and we will promptly delete the data.

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced through in-app notifications or changelogs.
